Awlad Monshi

Awlad Monshi’s unwavering passion for spreading the message of Islam has led him to collaborate tirelessly with prominent organizations in Saskatoon. Notably, he served as the President of the Prairie Muslim Association from 2016 to 2019 and continues to contribute to the Board of Directors at Saskatoon Dawah and Community Center. Presently, he holds the esteemed position of president at MCC Salaam Center in Edmonton

Graduating with a BBA degree from Cape Breton University in Sydney, NS, Awlad Monshi previously served as the president of the MSA, showcasing his commitment to youth engagement. This commitment extended to assuming responsibilities for NextGen and the Youth Department at the Muslim Circle of Canada.

With over a decade of diverse professional roles at Best Buy Canada, ranging from Mobile Manager to Precinct Chief, Awlad Monshi brings a wealth of experience. His leadership journey continued in 2021 when he relocated to Edmonton, taking on the role of program coordinator at the First Mosque of Al Rashid mosque. Beyond his professional and community commitments, he remains a family-oriented individual, dedicated to being a loving father to three children.
