Raeed Sheikh

Raeed Sheikh is a first-year student at the University of Toronto Mississauga and a Hafizul Quran from Mississauga. He completed his Hifz in 2020 at the age of 13 in the riwayah of Hafs, and went on to complete a second recitation in the riwayah of Warsh in 2023.

He has pursued his Qur’anic studies under a number of distinguished scholars, most notably Imam Dr. Slimi at the Sayeda Khadija Centre in Mississauga. Raeed has been recognized with multiple awards in Qur’an competitions across Canada, including those hosted by ISNA Canada, the Muslim Association of Canada (MAC), Muslims Achieving Excellence (MAX), and the Sayeda Khadija Centre (SKC).
Deeply committed to the lifelong study and teaching of the Qur’an, he currently instructs Hifz and Tajweed classes at the Sayeda Khadija Centre.
